Hi, I'm Mike. Nice to meet you.
If you had a time machine and travelled back to 2001 when I was a freshman in high school, I could have told you flat out what I wanted to be when I got older. While the industry is constantly in a state of disruption and titles/technology evolve, My answer and my passion have never changed: Storytelling.
I fell in love with television when I was a tyke. When I wasn't riding my bike or playing outdoors, I was glued to the tube. I specifically fell in love with the WWE's programming. I loved how their characters and storylines developed on screen. As a 14 year old, I watched a promo between two WWE wrestlers that forever changed my world. I knew right then and there on March 29, 2001 that I was going to one way or another get myself involved in this incredible industry.
While a student at Ramapo College of New Jersey, I worked full time in my career. I taught myself how to shoot, edit, and produce for a Fortune 500 company, and eventually caught the eye of NBCUniversal, where l’ve spent more than a decade honing my craft. I've had the opportunity over the years to work on some amazing projects that have allowed me to not only learn from some of the best people in this industry but I've been able to fulfill my greater purpose in this world: helping others. Whether it's shedding light on a subject that needs attention or literally recognizing someone for a job well done. I love what I do and I look forward to spending the next 30+ years working with amazing people and getting knee deep in some of the most fulfilling, creative work out there.
In my spare time, you'll find me in a gym. Bodybuilding is a passion of mine and clean eating/exercise completely changed my life in my early 20s.
I'm a big proponent of children's causes. I launched an Anti-Bullying campaign in 2014. As a child, I was bullied to the point I didn't want to experience life anymore. Reading horror stories about the effect it has on children and reflecting on my own experiences, I decided to stand up share my story with others in an effort to help children who are going through this. I speak at schools and other functions, and have been featured in the newspaper.
I also like to travel, going to concerts and festivals, photography and of course, WWE. I'm literally a walking encyclopedia of their brand. Don't test me. I might challenge (and successfully defeat you) in a steel cage match.
I hope to work with you and create something magical.
